It's me

was born in 1977 in Erlangen, is a creature of curiocity, author, illustrator and lecturer.

She is full of questions! She researches, learns, writes prase and poetry, philosophizes, draws, paints, performs, interviews, learns and never stops learning. She is on the road with her books as part of meet-the-author events, staged readings, workshops and project weeks. Since 2019 she has been a reading ambassador for the "Bremer Lesezeit Projekt" (=Bremen Reading Time Project).

Her books have received many awards, including nominations for the German Youth Literature Prize, the German-French Youth Literature Prize and the Grand Prix of the Biennale of Illustration in Bratislava, The Best 7, Book and Audiobook of the Month, White Raven and others.
