It's me

was born in Hanover in 1979. In his favorite city of Tübingen, he studied German, Scandinavian and Indian literature, each with the with the most impractical focus conceivable: Middle High German, Old Icelandic and Sanskrit, respectively.

After completing his doctorate, he turned his love of writing into a career and founded his own writing workshop, the “Satzweberei” (="Word Weavers Mill"). He also continues to work as a lecturer in creative and academic writing as well as literary studies.

He mainly writes fantasy and historical books for children, young people and adults. He lives near Bremen with his wife and four children.
