was born in 1968 in Bad Segeberg, He traveled across Europe as a street musician, and after completing his studies, preferred a freelance artistic carreer to a university career. He now lives in Bremen as an actor, director, theater teacher, musician and writer. His books and plays have received numerous awards, including three times the "Reading Compass" at the Leipzig Book Fair. And when he goes on tour reading from his books, he usually has the actor and the musician packed in his luggage (along with his accordion).
