It's me

was born in Hanover in 1980 and grew up in the Weserbergland region. She has lived in Bremen since 2002, where she studied at the Academy of the Arts and has since worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.

She works for various publishers, gives workshops, and guides children on museumtours.

The Bremen Town Musicians pop up in her work from time to time, and she is particularly fond of small, fat dogs. After a track on a donkey back in Sardinia and chickens in her neighbor's garden, the only thing missing is the cat she’d secretly love as a pet.

She gives readings from her illustrated books, enjoys telling about how they are created, draws, and discovers stories in her hidden object books together with the children.

She still lives with her family in Bremen and has no plans to leave for now.
